Tonic Fold are the award winning orchestral pop collective from composer Shane Cullinan.

The highly-acclaimed group's line up consists of a 20-piece orchestra, drums, bass, piano and guitar. Their music falls around an ambient, raw orchestral sound, blended with an upbeat soft funk groove, which has worked well in clubs as much as concert halls.

Their forthcoming third full-length album The Violent Language of Portraits features a  phenomenal roster of guest vocalists from across the world of classical, pop, and jazz music including British soul singer David McAlmont and West-End theatre star Rachel Tucker.

Also making a guest performance is actress Kathy Burke in her first such collaboration.

Individually, the rest of the band members have worked with The Divine Comedy, Ryan Adams, Beth Orton, Starsailor, English National Opera, Florence & The Macnhine, Paul McCartney, London Symphony Orchestra, Take That, Rod Stewart, Paul Weller, Enigma, and Birmingham Symphony Orchestra
